Ballarat's Contemporary Art Hub

The Post Office Gallery at Federation University is located on the NE corner of Sturt and Lydiard St North in Ballarat. As a professional gallery operating within the Arts Academy, it presents a dynamic program of contemporary exhibitions featuring the work of student, staff, and alumni alongside established local and international artists.

The gallery also serves as a living classroom — providing arts students with real-world experience in gallery and museum practice under professional guidance. Entry to all exhibitions is always free, and the gallery is accessible to all visitors.
